Welcome to you 2021 Year End Property Update! As the dramatic “year of the covid” comes to a close, we look back on 2021 and smile with bittersweet tears. Being a Real Estate Brokerage here in the Tampa Bay Area, we never really shut down. This was in thanks to our very own Ron DeSantis keeping Florida open. We have to comment here; the real estate market sure did respond in a positive way!
Tampa has been in an economic growth period over 2021 in many ways. New Jobs, population increases, our professional sports teams and their winning streaks and of course our beaches are all reasons why we are seeing growth like this.
In the real estate world, we have seen many dramatic changes. Inventory is scarce and when we do sell a home, we do so in under 5 days. If a property is on the market for longer than 15 days, there’s something wrong.
