As our coldest weather of the season hits us this upcoming weekend, people are looking to migrate away from the beaches and into the hearts of the beautiful communities instead. With endless Oktoberfest and Halloween events all October long, this November will sure to provide plenty of things to do for the entire family. Annual Sanding Ovations Master’s Cup

WHAT IS IT?
All it takes is a pile of sand, some buckets of water, and lots of imagination to build a masterpiece. Ten master sculptors from throughout North America, Europe and Asia will return to Treasure Island for the 10th Annual Sanding Ovations Master’s Cup Competition. Live music, food, a craft market, and a children’s area featuring sand sculpting lessons will be available. The event is free to the public.
Dunedin Celtic Music & Craft Beer Festival
DATE: Nov. 17, 2018

WHAT IS IT?
A full day centered around traditional and contemporary Celtic music and both local and national craft beer! Between 12 – 10 p.m., musicians from Scotland and across the globe will be performing on multiple stages at Dunedin’s Highlander Park. The 2018 festival will feature music by MacGilliossa, Off Kilter, Seven Nations, City of Dunedin Pipe Band, The Screaming Orphans, and The Glengarry Bhoys! Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
WHAT IS IT?
This tour explores the beautiful waterfront Beach Drive neighborhood via a 3- hour walking food & wine tour. We meet at The Vinoy Hotel the “Grand Dame” of downtown St. Pete and while sipping a signature cocktail we explore this spectacular historic resort. The tour continues to The Birchwood Inn & Locale Market for wine and food pairing. Up next we visit Flute & Dram for a taste of the good life with a champagne and caviar tasting. Finale desserts and coffee at Cassis St. Pete.
WHAT IS IT?
Launching from Dunedin Causeway Saturday morning between 10:00 & 10:30am, the Florida Ski Riders will launch and make their way around and under the draw bridge and start the ride out to Anclote Key riding through some of the islands on the way. This is the second year here in Dunedin with a massive turnout of Florida PWC Riders. This year they are expecting over 500 skis.

WHAT IS IT?
This is the largest running event in the Tampa Bay area with more than 17,000 runners participating annually! There’s a race for every skill level, including one for competitive runners, one for recreational runners, and one for walkers.Top finisher for the competitive races will receive a trophy. Proceeds benefit local charities and canned goods and non-perishable food will be collected in the stadium on race day to be donated. Registration includes an event t-shirt; the races start at 7 a.m.

Skip the chaos in the kitchen and spend Thanksgiving at Fenway Hotel’s signature restaurant, HEW Parlor & Chophouse! Between 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, they’ll be offering a three-course, family-style, pre-fixe feast and dessert social. Choose from the classic Thanksgiving dishes or unique plates.
